DeanB, I remember this article and many thanks for posting it.
The second page shows the vehicles’ detail from a perspectve that rarely gets photographed but is something that floats my boat! I suspect it helps those who model trucks as well

He will more than likely have some info on them.

An owner driver based on the family farm at Abenhall, Bazz. I remember at the time most of us thought he was going over the top with a 150 Gardner in a six wheeler!
Pretty sure this is the one I bought in 82 and run on Holland/Belgium until 83 when I sold it to a guy from Bristol for £800 , It’s picture has been on before, blue I think. Cliff

They had quite a few Spanish Dodge in their fleet. Twibell seemed to be a company that expanded quickly and then faded from the scene.

The wagons livery was white and orange with black lettering, the livery suited the fleet very well in my very humble opinion!
I believe that they were taken over by one of the Pinkerton company’s customers (a grain merchant) who took over the Pinkerton fleet although the farm and depot premises supposedly remained Ian Pinkerton’s. The Pinkerton haulage activity ran as an autonomous subsidiary of the grain merchant.
