I agree Chris !
Any one ever have the pleasure of operating a Braby forklift that attached to the unit ■■? Looks like it
would have been pure evil on the back of a cab,as how the hell would you see what you were doing ?
It may have worked to a fashion on the F86. Being a low cab you may have been able to see ? But if you
were driving a normal taller cab i would think it would have been a terrible experience, leaving you with
a sore neck !
A good idea in theory but you can see why the moffat was invented !

Nice legs !
A ■■■■■■■ powered ERF ‘MW 66CU’ 6x4 recovery truck which was operated from new by the ERF Middlewich Service Centre.
Opened in 1971 until it’s closure in 2000 the ERF Service Centre was the hub of ERF’s parts distribution network and also provided (at various times) vehicle repair facilities, training schools and more.
After 2000 the parts operation was contracted out to a firm with facilities in Burton-on-Trent,
I think that a mark of the sucess (?) Of this forklift attachment thingy Dean is the number you still see around today (0)

Good idea on a Bedford, not such a good idea on a Ford tilt cab if the luton is loaded.

The lutons were boarded off so nothing could be loaded on them they consisted of a bed and a little cabinet the tilt cab was also on the Bedford I have slept in them if you needed a pee open door and pray no one walks underneath
Surely a boarded off compartment directly behind the cab would have been a better set up.

No because all them cabs we’re day cabs that’s why a lot of furniture company’s had the Luton converted the Jones Bedford you can get 30 Chesterfield suites on there stacked 3 high all along the van usually about 28 drops all over the country ,they never made Luton sleeper cabs cheers John
