Could it be an SandR contract tanker Chris?

Aye it could well be an S and R contract wagon,or even ex S and R.Hard to tell without any signwriting on it. Somebody might recognise it.

Hi Dean,
I think? that could be long serving blue line driver malcolm ridhout in the 1626 merc.Blue line had three of those.Powered by a V6 260HP,good machines, all consecutive S registration.Malcolm always looked after his motors.

Great shot DEAN ,looks like its loaded for British Tissues , they hauled quite a lot out of that place ,regards Keith

Thanks for your comments Keith.

Chris Webb:
Anyone recognise the ERF tanker ■■?
The livery reminds me of VP Wines but it has a WX West Riding reg plate. Looks like it’s a foodstuff tanker, edible oils etc…

T1 New World Bedford.

Hi Dean, This caught my eye, very old type of roof makes it look a lot older than the truck.
With the extra leg at the back by the tail lift runner, could this be an old demountable set up ■■
Great shots once again, Harvey

Is this one of Western’s the same company you worked for Bubb’s ?

You could be right Harvey as it looks like the front leg is possibly in the raised postion just at the
end of the fuel tank ?
