I got close up and personal with this Scania R730 at North Kessock today, had a great chat with the driver who invited me to have a seat behind the wheel, it seemed a long way up for a decrepit so I declined. The machine on the back weighed 30ton, the tare weight was 26ton, grossing 56ton, he was on his way to Wick, I said what about Berriedale Brae, he said âNot a problem for this machineâ.

Hi Haddy, I like that mural as well brings back memories of the Field Marshall and the threshing mill. Starting the Field Marshall could sometimes be a b***er, the crank If I remember rightly went into the flywheel and being single cylinder it was important to catch the stroke right, failing that it could be started with a cartridge, memory is letting me down but I think that went in under a screw cap at the front.

I take exception to anyone posting pics which I have taken a lot of time to collect,lent in the case of older pics by hauliers to me to post on here for others to enjoy.
Please do the same instead of lifting other peoples pics off threads.

them on a public forum and said they donât have a copyright to you

OK Dave Iâve done that and looked at the website he runs for VDub vans but Iâm still a bit confused 
Maybe you know more about him than me
Not trying to get into any kind of conflict over this was just puzzled when your pics had already been on an open forum without copyright to you

your a detective aswell now then I have posted loads of my pics on the forum and any that are copyrighted on the pic iv asked before hand. if there not then
how are you supossed to know whos taken it. I will not copyright any of my own pics ,there on here for everyone to enjoy,which is how it should be.
By the way iv been into vintage splitscreen campers for 20 years and is my hobby now aswell as Trucks !!

I put the pics on for all the members if they wish to enjoy.I havenât copyrighted them before as a lot of members donât like seeing the copyright logo on them.
I have seen a couple on ebay which I have posted and so have some of the others who post a lot of pics on here seen theirs.
I was in the company of one of the main pic thread posters on trucknet at a show last year.He was going to have it out with a guy who was selling pics which he had posted.
Now Iâm not suggesting MOC does that,but if he posts pics he should source them himself instead of lifting them off other threads.
I donât want to get into a keyboard war with you or MOC,but let people post their own pics.
