MOC:
Great shots “MOC”,the Sam Anderson Mamouth Minor is interesting, when I was at Brady’s in the mid/late 60’s they had ordered 6 of the MM’s and were already running one 4x2 Mandator, however, this sole Mandator was so unreliable that they cancelled the 6 MM’s and did eventually buy 6 Atkinson 6x2 180LXB tractors.I understand that the problem with the AEC’s could easily have been sorted by giving the engine more coolant capacity, probably with a header tank located behind the cab and higher than the engine. The ability of AEC to develop a twin steer to run at the then new GVW was a great idea, unfortunately the reliabilty of the engine design let them down.Cheers Bewick.
Took this old girl about two weeks in Bathgate…the stuff on the roof was really oily and sticky…think it just a Shunter now…

Caught this in South Queensferry … single axle trailer caught my eye…
I was a bit puzzled as to the purpose of this machine, does it work or is it for show, couple of pics and a youtube link. youtube.com/watch?v=pJ1fore8JbQ
