Ta for the kind words, a wee bit of a diversion but it was on the back of a lorry at some time, looking at the wheels, it could be a BMW underneath. Of course that could be a load of rubbish

Hello Oily, here’s another skip ( not as smart as that one though ) this one can often be seen around Norfolk during the summer months.
By the way mate, keep em coming. Brilliant! Regards Haddy Gt.Yarmouth.

It could well be mate, I’ve never seen it out in the rain but if they got caught out they would put a skip-net over them I reckon.
By the way did you take your user name from the “Ramones” band? Cheers Haddy.

Having seen the photograph of the Albion in " Lyons Cocoa " livery , I thought I
d a bit of history about the vehicle .
The late Bob Braithwaite bought the Albion as a non-runner , - and with no cab or bodywork , - in the early 1970`s.
We transported it to a coachbuilder at Walton-le-Dale , Preston , ( Littles of Gillibrand Street ? ) . They constructed a new cab and bodywork from original photographs , which had been taken when the Albion was brand new. It was also re- liveried in the original name of Lyons Cocoa .
This photograph was taken in August 1983 , as it was being loaded onto our Leyland Chieftain , prior to its journey to the ■■■■■■■ Steam Gathering , Kendal Showground . The venue was then at the northern end of Kendal , where the Morrisons Supermarket now stands.
The other vehicle shown is our Dodge 50 , reg. no. PEC 123 V , and named " Country Lady ".
Bernard Riley , a dedicated assistant to Bob , is shown on the left , and my late father , on right , appears to be a bystander at the time of loading .
Cheers , and thanks , Oiltreader , cattle wagon man.

Going back to the 60s one of my “digs” stops was at the Iron Grey pub on Middlewich Rd. Sandbach, right opposite the Foden works, mine host was a chap called ? Stallard, good digs they were and parking in the Market Square.
