The body of this large-capacity van,operated by Symbol Biscuits Ltd.,was built by Spurling Motor Bodies Ltd.
on a Big Bedford 7-ton long wheelbase chassis.Refinments include recessed rear number plate,
boxed in spare wheel ( I bet that caused a few oaths later on ) and gridded interior roof lights.

Heres a rare Gardener two stroke marine engine, didnt need a gearbox, as it would run both ways, another bit of British engineering from Paticroft. Regards Larry.
