Now what do you call that DiG? Is it 2 semis with an A-frame in the middle. So an A/B triple?
2 more questions, is the 2nd crate loaded from the side or perhaps straight through, and err, what is the point? Perhaps local length limits?
Interlink ?.Looks like a semi with a drawbar dolly pulling a B semi and a semi on the B trailer coupling.
Not sure Froggy, it’s in New South Wales. It’s up there with them maniacs that ride on a beer tray behind a half a dozen bulls ! I wonder if they raced for real ? Our Aussie friends might know cheers coomsey

Buzzer’s photo. Vic Mathers another well respected haulier and gentleman who passed away recently RIP Sir.
Not often you see an LV sleeper cab Buzzer! I wonder who built that AEC cab…
The motor show looks to be late '30s. Do we know the year?
With the double “air conditioning” windscreen set up it could 1933 or 1934, couple of pics with similar windscreens.

More likely to be 1935 or 36 - those cabs are the streamlined “Jubilee” type, introduced in the King’s Jubilee year (1935). The ones in the colour pictures are earlier “R” Types, from 1932-34/5.
This Albion Chieftain unit was nicknamed “The Snow Cat” and was mainly operated by a couple of Scottish firms, Caledonian Road Services and sister co. McKinnon’s from Kilmarnock and the unit in the shot bears a Scottish reg. No… Used to see them travelling through Kendal in the early 60’s they had the little Albion 4 cyl engine and also used the Scammell coupling and IIRC the cab was moulded from fibreglass. I had a couple of Scots lads at Bewick Transport Cheers Dave McMurtrie originally from Kilmarnock and Duncan McMinn originally from Dumfries and they both drove Snowcats in the day and they said they were ice boxes in winter and ovens in summer ! More than likely 1937 as the Foden in the front left had the S.10 cab (a cab number that would return many years later) this cab had been refined that year as the 1935 ‘Streamline’ cab had thicker screen posts causing a blind spot so it was redesigned and at a cheaper cost, also it still has the straight radiator from that date a little later in the year the rad was curved to follow the line of the S.10 cab. Franky.
