Great photos Rob, I can remember lorries going over tower bridge in the 70s with reels of paper on and as with the photo only chocked and roped on the back end. Can’t remember the transport company but I seem to recall they were red artics.

Hi Tyneside, had a closer look at the photo and looks like Phone Lanchester 242 and there’s mebbe a connection with the Harrison family at Cold Pike Farm Lanchester Co Durham.
