I can see this new “drugalyser” putting an end to lots of peoples driving careers. Apparantly one joint can be detected for 3 days. Imagine being banned from driving for 12 months and your career brought to an end because you smoked a doobie 3 days ago. Perhaps the fabled “driver shortage” will shortly materialise!
NHS:
For regular heavy smokers, it takes an average of two weeks to one month for it to leave their system, although it can be longer. Long-term users may still have cannabis in their body two to three months after they last smoked it.
i think you will find its a long time upto 3 months for regular users
That’s weird, bloke on Jeremy vine said only 8-12 hours for a joint. More like till the next evening for cocaine and heroine. I guess there’ll be a lot of experts claiming differing lengths of what drug lasts whatever because as with anything we all deal with stuff differently.
I can’t think of one bloke that drives a lorry that smokes weed, I don’t think if you have a smoke sat night then go to work Monday you’d be a danger. But the law is the law now, I don’t have to worry about it fortunately, but I don’t think they’ll be targeting truck drivers in all honestly. Be likely to get caught if in an RTA even if not at fault. Like doing a breath test.
The tests aren’t picking up long term use in the system, it’s designed to detect a level that they’ve decided is impairing the driver and won’t detect under much like a breath test shows red and green.
Surely the tests will simply pick up whether it’s in your system - not how many years you’ve been smoking it.
I don’t think the level is linked to impairment - most of the levels are set far too low for that - it would be the alcohol equivalent of half a glass of beer or less.
Don’t do it!!! SIMPLES

As Above its not worth it
One of my mates smokes more weed than snoop doggy dog, instead of callin for a cuppa now and again i best just ring him up for a natter;passive smoking etc the first thing he does on a morning is reach under the bed to get his tray and roll a spliff
then he gets a wash and ready for work, you would never no if you looked and spoke to him,hes been smoking it that long he doesnt feel normal unless hes stoned
Apparantly you’ll fail the test if you have too much cough mixture. They’ll be looking out for people with runny noses and coughs and pulling them over to bump up the prosecution quota.
3 day weekend, whooowhoooo
If breath canabis test will be positive police will do the blood test to confirm. Thc in blood will be below the legal limit (2µg/L) in about 4 - 8 hours ( for very frequently users maybe more). So in my opinion the new drug law is good and fair. You can smoke in your evenings, but not before your shift!

Some one I know is leaving this industry as we speak because of this he has a few on a Saturday nights he said he is no harm to anyone doesn’t beat people up or cause problems that attract police and ambulances on Saturday night like these ■■■■■■ up louts do out on the tiles but yet they can go to work on a Monday no problem I don’t condone taking drugs and driving my condolences go out to people who have lost loved one to drug drivers but if some one wants to have a few on a Saturday then leave it for a a day then fresh for Monday what’s the problem canabis stays in your system longer than alcohol so really it’s very unfair it’s actually going to not [zb] this industry up its going to [zb] a lot of other people up as actually anyone who has a job a licence and smokes will be forced to choose its a way of the gve [zb] controlling people you have a choice sir give up your spliff or lose your job and right to drive any one who smokes has to choose now
Any new driver that signs the licence application for provisional agrees that the DONT have a drug habit at any point you can be put in front of a judge even if you were on holiday had a smoke then came back a drove its in your system your a goner
So my personal opinion is don’t touch it as even if your caught in a accident in a hgv it will be your fault as you have that drug in your system
14 years for death through driving under the influence of drugs and when driving such kit down the road your extremely vunruble to accidents and now the drugslyser
Isn’t it a saliva test for drugs (or spit for our TNUK members).
So now at a road side stop we will be expected to blow and lick stuff, oh well every cloud…
Apparently according to some dodgy areas of the internet a mouth full of seamen (I don’t mean sailors…ehhh maybe I do) will confuse the drugaliser enough to show a zero reading.

I will send this to my friend you can have 2€ not sure what this means it’s all very confusing maybe this is way of culling the uk drivers as roads are so congested I do agree though someone who smokes or whatever then gets in a car is wrong even worse a truck is a complete fool but the guy who has a few days off before driving from a few what’s wrong in that alcohol stays in your blood for how long■■?

If that second clip ain’t a hoax then she’s had a ■■■■ load of speed or double dropped a couple of Doves like the ones you got in Ibiza in the early 90s
Imagine her strapping a full load down, from start to finish it would take about 5 mins
