I was coming out of Dudley one morning heading back to the motorway when there was a small queue at one of the roundabouts.When i eventually got going there was a Renault Premium upside down ,the cab was flattened right down to the bottom of the windows ,it had a flat trailer on carrying steel, i often wonder what happened to the driver he couldn`t have survived that ,but looking at some of the pics on here maybe he did

Hi MML this picture was taken on the A38 leaving Tewkesbury towards Gloucester just past Holm Hospital. I remember it happened in the morning ,we saw it as we passed on the school bus and by the time they got the Mustang there to tranship they were still at it well into the afternoon.

thanks mate, I do consider myself lucky but at least i’m still here, I have rough days but who doesn’t & life is what you make it, you have to try & make the best of what you’ve got & get on with it.
I also think that any accident really isn’t trivial as its bound to have an affect in some way or another.

hi mate,

yes they did & took his O licence off him & banned him from having 1 give him a fine, but he got 1 in his wifes name, but a good mate of mine (RIP Deker) said he didn’t last too long after that.

The guy in the doorway looks quite chuffed just to have his photo taken and isn’t a bit concerned about the lorry smashed into the side of his house.

Maybe he’s the driver and as soon as his lorry hit the house the lady of the house invited him in for a pot of tea and a scone, best of British!

And 5 minutes later they were sat around the wireless listening to the Archers.

I know we have had this one on before but in the picture below it shows that the Leyland Comet, operated by Humber Warehousing of Grimsby, must have remained in situ for quite period of time while the arch at Lincoln was rebuilt

20ish year’s ago a young lad drove for these with the name plate digger on the truck anyone no where he is now? ?.

yeah he works with me driving this

Used to park up with Digger quite regularly on the B+Q at Bamber Bridge, they stopped us parking there when it started getting busy…
