Oh it was in 1979 , I was pulled from the wreckage and still driving lorries today.

thanks mate, I do consider myself lucky but at least i’m still here, I have rough days but who doesn’t & life is what you make it, you have to try & make the best of what you’ve got & get on with it.
I also think that any accident really isn’t trivial as its bound to have an affect in some way or another.

it was about the only wrecker round our way at the time same job different angle.i think it was an aec with a scammell cab

colour change.this was at workington this wagon had just loaded cardboard at thames board mills and only got 2 miles up the road and put it through a wall into a field

Here’s one on the M4 near Reading - Police came did a rolling block and let us turn round - Once it was out they came back and did the same again - No lane closures. No drama. No traffic tailbacks. Those were the days :smiley: :smiley:
