A1 is that you turning right kev
Thanks Mark! you know how to make a fella feel his age. I’ve had a word with Stan and the shilling pocket money you rip out of is grasping fingers every week is to be cut back to a tanner until you learn to respect your elders. Ps it was sad to see the look of discomfort on his face when he realised he had to teach you a lesson. (or it might have been a smirk). As for Harry I will deal with him at a later date. Regards Kev.

This has got to be the same Baxter that I worked for in the 50s, The fitter a bloke called Billy Shore from Gateshead to me that Baxters sold out to Priors of Birtley, & old Jonny Baxter fired up again after nationalisation in 1953 as Baxters Road Services Ltd on the Quayside, with the late young Jonny Baxter running it, Happy memories, Regards Larry.

Hi All,
Not sure if any of you remember me but I worked for J.R.Adams, CPS,Glennys,Fresh Freight and Christie Malcolms etc.
I’m not driving anymore cos I work at the brewery in Tadcaster (exporting Broon Ale to America) and I hate it.
I’ve been looking through these posts now for the last week and it’s bringing some fantastic memories back and not to mention a few faces (good times indeed)
If it helps you out at all, I used to have a guitar stuck to the front of my grill when I was at Jakeys…
