No this Dodge is a six wheeler painted Tilcons colours but it belonged to Les Scott I think he still has a tipper on Tarmac the 6 wheeler Volvo I remember very well Ronnie Story swapped bodys to put on his ERF to get the tare weight down now Im sure that ERF belonged to Kenny Balls father & law ? Great stuff F/7S. Les;s old man allways had good gear they had an S.Type Bedford 1960ish it had a Leyland Comet Engine it was a flat wagon & the ran on distance work. I never saw them for years until 1973 in Tilcons Blaydon the old man had a Ergo cabbed 4 wheeler Leyland & Les the 6wheeler Dodge V 8 Perkins I have some oldie photos to put on when I learn how to do it the Grandson will when he comes home on leave (RAF) Cheers Larry

Yes they are the very same I remember when the demolished the old Maltings on Melbourne Street N/c. I got a load of RSJs for a lder I did work for at that time a bloke I worked with at Baxters went to work for Charltons Harry Robbins ? Regards Larry

i think he must be long gone, Rob drives the daf, alad called Rod drives the scania and Brian drives the volvo and Robs brother David drives the little leyland doing the local coal deliveries.
