Hullo Mark,
I thought that you may have some somewhere, is Bob Kidney the one we used to call “Birtley Bob” ? I was only talking about him last night to my Son Kevin, he was often running to Swiss with him. You may remember Kev, he was running one of my motors out of FM Birtley to Swiss for a while.
Cheers, Archie.

Don’t know how we got away with using my skelly Jim, the rules of the run were no sideguards on trailers no-one mentioned the age of the trailer. This was before the tank was finished and the trailer we normally borrowed from Ritchies was out on a job. I think Ted Hannon got a lot of earache from the purists but he knew it would have been a right **** acher solo. Regards Kevin.

What a site ! always take photographs they do not mean a thing but ten or twenty years down the line they are like gold nugets every one of them…why no pic,s of Econofreight pre blue white …ie orange then tarmac green. Chappie !

The badges were taken off, we were told because they did not wish to advertise the truck, this only came about when Tarmac bought them out.The badges went home with the fitters or naild on tool boxes, Atky nights (A) gardner 150, RR ,■■■■■■■■
