I think that motor would have struggled to run on off road sites with just the single drive axle ! Cheers Dennis.
PS There could only be a “tight arsed” Geordie that would have converted a bonneted Trader !

Now then Dennis, These Fords had the York third axle, Which had a sort of wishbone system, Plus Smiles for Miles 6 wheel Dodge tippers had the very same, They did in fact perform very well on soft going sites, Better than the Primrose axles if you get my drift, Take care & stay safe along with your family, Regards Larry.

Its likely these two old motors will belong to O’Brien Demolition of East Boldon, this company has come a long way since starting in the 70’s. They have heavy haul Scania units to move their Demo cranes and plant around as well as tippers. Franky.
