Larry the National Benzole truck has just reminded me, they used to deliver a load of petrol every day into our yard when we were doing the lime spreading with the GMCs and the Canadian Fords. The driver was Billy Coxon his brother ran a haulage fleet out of Burnhopefield I think he had AECs painted black from memory. Can you remember them?

hiya,
Getting ready for the 28th “do”, been out with the begging bowl and got a few bob together to finance my booze even bought myself a printed “T” shirt emblazoned with “thanks harry long retired” and the outline of an eight legger and drag, just in case anybody wonders who that bloody foreigner is who’s chatting to Larry Dunbar and sat next to Geordie Walton or if I’ve upset anyone and they want to smack me in the gob it’ll make them sure that they’ve got the right person, see you all there, and a very nice Christmas and a very prosperous New Year to you all.
thanks harry long retired.
