Took this photo in 1992 on Hawks road in Gateshead but know nothing about the wagon , looks like a home made cab on a Ford D series to me?0
The cab looks like what they used on the airport service vehicles around the time

Iāve just found this old shot of my 85 Daf. I was delivering the tank trailer to Ferryhill for painting.
I used our good friends the Ritchies low loader on both delivery and collection, when the tank was
painted my unit was off the road for repair so the ERF was used to collect itās new other half.

Hi Robparfitt
My Dad and John Sisterton were good pals and had known each other for years from when John and his brother ran their own fleet. Although we were a virtually totally Leyland fleet, John would always call in for a chat when ever he was passing and even after we packed in John still made a point of calling.
John and Tommy Tulip were regular visitors when my Dad was in hospital for a long spell just before he died four years ago.

Anyone rememer this Tony Hall from Scotts Gap
remember tony used to come into longfields for repairs ā¦
