Hi bumper that commer belonged to dependable furniture villiers street Sunderland, the owner wasa mr. Ditch burn chairman of Sunderland FC? He also owned dependable products on Team valley my dad was a driver for them from me being a lad until he retired as transport manager ,been down the road many times in their vans until I started myself that is the 1st photo I,ve seen of any of their vans cheers jeff.

Just had word about an ex Gallacher driver Melvyn Davidson been unwell for a while died yesterday aged 62yr. Nice bloke he`s got a relative who posts on here now & then Condolances to him & the rest of his Family. Also kevmac informed me about Albert Haswell who has also died same to his friends & relatives.

Gary, have you any shots of Brian Porters wrecker? It used to be a regular at the Tyne Tees Run but was sold on after he died. He was a larger than life character!!! His mobility scooter was also a regular sight at rallies, he never sounded the horn, but you knew he was around :open_mouth: :open_mouth: He could never be called “the quiet man” :smiley: :smiley: Regards Kev.
