I’ve always said it one of not many that can do the northeast proud in the road haulage industry.

Great old photos of Tommy Dodds in his younger days, He was a great bloke to know, & He was one of the best grafters I ever met, I used to see him & some of his drivers at Larbert Foundry when they were loading for the South with a few drops etc, Happy long gone days, Regards Larry.

Hi Larry,
my Mam had these photos,she is a good friend of Tommy’s Dodds daughters.
I got to know Tommy and the younger Tommy,s when i was traveling with Bob Dunn at Fergie’s have some great memories from the times i was away with Bob.
Its been great seeing some of the old north east companies on here especially from 80’s so much has changed !!

Great photos Bumper, The Dependable Commer Earley 50s motor , I remember their factory on the left heading towards the T.V.T.E. From Bensham, I once or twice loaded pots & pans from there in the good old long gone days, Regards Larry.
here’s a few taken a number of years ago only got a couple of Waugh’s this been the best one, Waugh’s and Wardle are long gone the other’s Allinson and Andrew Newton are still going strong to date. regards prattman.
