This is my late great uncle Tommy, loaded with bricks that had to be hand balled out of railway trucks at Dudley Station, They were for delivery to Fordley building site & came from one of the LBC Works, Regards Larry.

I remember Brian telling me about his recovery truck on one of my visit’s to his house at the time it was away getting something done to it so I never got to see it, I cannot recall taking any photo’s of it at the tyne-tees run.
As you say he was some character I remember asking him if he had any photo’s of redmires lorries and he went out of his way to help me out with my request, a perfect gentleman. regards Gary.
