This Albany Motors wrecker looks like a Leyland Super Hippo in the livery style of Tom Carruthers of Carrutherstown on the A 75 also a Kirkcudbrightshire registration mark. I cannot recall seeing this vehicle but Tom had an ex Siddle Cook Super Hippo or Beaver with a Durham registration mark ■■00 PT. Maybe he had two at one time.
