Proper lorry driver from tomorrow- off T’Bonnie Scotland!You are better off than a tourist Nathan, you can see much more out of a lorry. Sounds as if you have a good job seeing the country and getting paid for it.
Cheers Dave.Could do with a few less hours and a lot less manual labour though Dave. Driving side’s good; In the last couple of weeks I’ve seen London, Brighton, Bournemouth, Bristol, South Wales, Devon… I think I’ve got Oxfordshire on Thursday and Hereford-Birmingham on Friday.
Stick with it Nathan, as for the manual labour it will keep you fit as Pete said. I used to carry two hundred weights bags of cement at a time on my shoulder at a time before I had my accident, kept me fit and stood me in good stead when I had my RTA , as the consultant told my parents and girlfriend at the time.

Here you go Steve, found another pic of Den’, can’t remember where it was taken, but this was Den’ at his happiest playing with a Lorry, his enthusiasm for the Wagons never faded no matter how old he was & even when he fell really ill all he wanted to talk about were his wagons, proper Lorry man, they don’t make 'em like him any more

Found the pic of the other Boxer I had to cane round Europe for Ray, I had them both before I was "Promoted " to a Merc wagon & drag! Could have been worse, I could have ended up with the old Clydesdale with the drag-on, wouldn’t pull your 4-scin back !
Called up to see the wife’s family couple of weeks ago, father-in-law said they’d got a new toy round the family yard, went down & they’ve bought this Beast

Fantastic truck in it’s day, I drove a couple and loved them. As you said " flew along and never missed a beat." 
Proud as Punch! Just turned 18 & passed my Class 3, so now I can legally play
Great old photos Chris , love the picture of Dens Roadtrain , as you can see his Door card trims were immaculate ,just as I recall . ,this truck was a working fleet truck but so nice to see back there .

Hi Steve, it was a shame for Den’s wagon, he spent all his own money to do it up & it did look smart, but he was always dragging about those scabby old trailers 
. Considering the places they went eg Motor Shows/Filming etc all over Europe, you would have thought they would have tidied the trailers up a bit 
We didn’t make it to London this morning…
