I got to know Sam Costa over 30 years ago when I worked at Commercial Engineers,the Fiat agents on Sneyd Hill.Didn’t he do furniture removals to Italy at one time?

no mate i havent changed my car still got the silver 57 plate astra estate & yes mate i live in biddle (well brown lees really) but close enough.

A UP…I was talking to Dave Scarlet 2 weeks ago he’s still punching up and down the M5/M6,He’s doing it at that ANC what ever they call it
nowadays…he told me they have to have a reassment at the end of each year and if you have been reported for any ill manered acts
(headbutting anyone) your out of the door. times do change don’t they…any how he said he was keeping well and would do another year or two.

was talking to him up town yesterday stopped for a 10min chat and ended up there for a hour ,and about 3,00o miles . 
.he is going to Spain this week i think on his golfing /bar holiday with the lads . he did say he had rang you .

gaz he is having a big clear out at the min loads and loads have gone down the scrap yard and as he is 65 this month so one wonders what he is up to 
.there a few f88 and A series ERF’S knocking about round the yard , but at the min scrap prise is very good so of it goes to the crusher
its funny you should say that jeff, as the other week i saw a couple of his motors going to potteries demolition in fenton loaded with scrap stuff, i wandered what was going on but now i know.
it would be a shame for the f88’s & erf to go for scrap as they would be a good project for someone who has the time & money to restore them to their former glory.
