Sniffy:
A few more Kenning rigids

How can I get a photo of the Furness Fina tanker (top pic) ?
This was my dads tanker and as a kid I used to travel with him all over Surrey in the early 70s. He pasted away last July and I’m so pleased to of found this picture as haven’t got one and brings back such good memories.

I’ve messaged Sniffy and hope he is still about.I’d love to be able to get a photo good enough to print.

Does anyone have any pictures of BFL, British Fuels tankers?. Very hard to find online. Would be nice to see what people have hidden in their collections.
Cheers
Davy

Hell, I used to hate hose reel work, 500 galls. here, 1000 galls. there :frowning: get me an artic or an 8 wheeler with 3 and 4 inch hoses, one drop and I was happy.
Every time I had a clean pair of overalls on and a 4 wheel hose reel motor, 1st drop I would finish up getting splashed with diesel or kero. Every b loody time. :frowning:
