Hi v7victor
I came across to Stillers from Sadlers depot at Oldham to run the chemical fleet, the lad who came to help run the Phillips contract with Steve Bell was Malcolm Lee who actually worked for Phillips at Cadishead for 20yrs + and then a young lad called Phil took the job on but this was sometime after I left.I worked with Dave Tarren & Danny Wilcox .Spudy Taylor was one of the Stiller lads I got allocated on the chemicals he lived somewhere near goole I think, but what a great lad he was.I did 24 yrs @Sadler + 2 @ Stillers, left in 2002.
John

v7victor, one for you here, do remember coming to Flimby one day to pump my load of diesel off this beast? It had a digital meter that was prone to locking up, other than that it was a good truck. Mizzo.

Yes, it came up to Thornaby (Sadlers) and i ran its contract out working out of North Tees for @ 14 months. As i said to v7vic it was a good truck and i was a bit sad to see it go.
