John, I am sure the Atki was on n/tees from new,at the end of its contract it was sold to Pearts at h/pool,but i dont remember who drove it on the contract,vic.

I was under the impression both trucks came from Leeds but v7 is right Lenny did drive the Strato, he had a dicky fit when it came back to Thornaby!! v7 in answer to your question i departed Imperial (T.O.) about the same time you did last year!! Heres another old beauty for you, do you recognise the drop?

Not sure, done that many but i think it might be Allen stobarts .vic.

Yes if you started around 97 A V had long gone then and as you say Charlie ran the garage along with Craig.And yes they did operate from Leeds + Long Eaton.You should also remember Mick Milburn,Ken Perkins,Billy Mcnab,Roger Fairbrother all on the phillips contract when Stiller took over and based them at Leeds.

How you keeping Les, are you still working? not sure again on the drop, but could be Barrow buses/ Carlisle buses. Vic.

I’m ok Les thanks,get at bit bored now and again but i soon get over it when think of the early starts and winter mornings.You got me on Slatyford, but it was before the new tanks were put in.I don’t know John Relph or can’t fetch him to mind,good to hear from you.Vic.
