A few well used Linfox Burmah trucks, not heard of Linfox for a number of years, presuming they gave up/bought out
Linfox was an Australian company I’m sure. They had the Fina contract out of Lindsey Oil Refinery at Killingholme in the late 90s.
Nice pictures Sniffy.I don’t suppose you have any of A.E. Evans of Barking and Sheffield?
Hi Sniffy
The DAF 2500 looks like one of Sadlers motors when they were on contract to Burma.E292KEF.They bought a bunch of DAFs starting with the reg E284KEF onwards. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Hi Stanfield, not sure about the Daf, the photos are in a batch together so assumed they were all from the same operator but the Daf’s had the livery removed, so could well be Sadlers
I’ll have a look for the Evans trucks Chris, I have some AEC’s with spirit tanks that look the same colour but without livery again
A couple of Phillips 66 motors
Hi Sniffy
The Scania is one of Stillers (I think) he always put his fleet numbers on the center of the roof aswell as the doors.
