I’ve sneaked onto the hospital wi-fi, so this post comes to you live from the Walton Neurological Center, Liverpool.
I’ve already been here since mid-afternoon (Sunday,) I’m all booked in and just about to go ‘nil by mouth’ ready for tomorrow.
I’m first in on the surgeon’s list tomorrow morning, so at least I’ll not be kept waiting.
I’ll be back as soon as I’m able.

i sent Dave a text message yesterday asking him if it went well, still not had a reply yet though 
Just had a phonecall from Dave, he is now home and dong nicely, he is hoping to make The Do on saturday

I had a sneak preview into the diary, just spoken to Dave 10 minutes ago, he is absolutely fine.

Thanks for the good wishes.
I’m back home now and well on the road to recovery after my pie-count had dipped dangerously low whilst on ‘nil-by-mouth.’
I’m going to write a picture diary of my stay, but not just yet, because I have to keep my head tilted back for as long as possible to aid the healing.
Besides that, I don’t want my few remaining brain cells to come sliding down my nose and onto my keyboard.

A midnight feast of illicit smuggled pies and butties, because I couldn’t get to the chippy

Well unfortunatley I have to work all over Easter & beyond, so I won’t be able to get to Cannock this year
