In reallity I shouldn’t be allowed near a computer I’m not knowledgeable enough,
people have bent over backwards trying to instill things into me, but I’ve just
got so little interest that stuff just goes in one ear and out the other but in all
fairness I do warn the would be tutors that they are flogging a dead horse, It’s
a case of where there is nowt you can’t plant owt.

I’m not compatible with computers either Harry, I click on things to quickly and the puter can’t handle that. Our broadband speed is quite slow here. But never mind its cheaper than burning diesel, because that’s what I would be doing if I hadn’t got this to keep me occupied.

I have been having trouble with my old laptop, it has been a pain, but have had it for six years, I will have to read up what I can do, on my newer one, this has bigger capacity, but smaller screen. :slight_smile: :slight_smile: :slight_smile: :slight_smile:

Still not sorted out my older laptop, just don’t seem to have time, but have put all my photo’s on to this laptop, I put the disc I burnt the gallery on, and put it into the laptop, and a cartouche of options came up on screen, I chose windows and it put them on this laptop all 596 of them. Makes me laugh that Purdy from the Avengers thinks she is good watching Sky Go on her laptop, I have been doing it for several years. :laughing: :laughing: :laughing: :laughing:

Got my desktop PC back Norm, but my broadband is that slow its hopeless. BT are coming to test the line on Tuesday ( fingers crossed ), its really annoying. Its taking so long to post anything on here. Its the same on the three PC’s that are here, its all been tested, so its up to BT now to get it sorted.

When I first checked my broadband, I found it was not what I was suppose to get, if you click on to your supplier or a check site it can bring up what you are getting in your street or village, and no two houses was the same in my area. :slight_smile: :slight_smile: :slight_smile: :slight_smile:

Done that Norm, my speed is about a quarter of what most of the other places around here are getting. We have an IT bloke living in the village and he says there is only one other property in the village with a line speed as slow as mine.
I am with BT, so unless they sort it I will tell them in no uncertain terms where to stick there package.

Well Dave did BT do the business ■■, I’m on a so called freebie from
SKY I don’t think it’ll be the best but the free bit suits me and at
times it’s running three devices, a bit slow sometimes but all in all
it suits me after all I’m retired so time taken doesn’t matter, you
have to have a SKY package to get same, so called free is a load of
■■■■■■■■, if I didn’t pay for SKY I wouldn’t have broadband.

A BT engineer has been and put a new line into the bungalow and my broadband speed is now good for this area.

I expect compared to the broadband speed you get in a large town, this is still slow, but I’m much happier with it than I was a week ago.
