I see comrade rayner said the first thing they will do when they get in power is ban zero hours contracts , so I assume that’s agency finished ?
Will there be anything put in place for the mental stress that’s going to cause them , having to wash /shower / change clothes every day , no more pinching our biscuits , buy there own , instead of 3 month in the Benidorm, hours at a tesco rdc on boxing / New Year’s Eve
5,4,3,2 ,1 along they come !!!
The big question is IF they get in to power
All the main parties can even run a bath let alone the country
God no!!! They created this ■■■■ show in the late 90’s please do not let them near no10 ever again.

In the brave new commy utopia everyone will have to work 10 hours per day 5 days per week until the age of 70.
Young party members and illegal immigrants exempt with entitlement to an unlimited Income support package.
With bonus points if they can show 50% of their resulting free time devoted to cycling.
Oh dear,as usual the dozer frothing up the wrong tree, zero hours PAYE,scores zero

Good likeness, but no mention of the sat-nav…
Raynor’s people have already buried the until-recently “resurgent” Labour party, so don’t lose any sleep over a resurgent Labour that now isn’t gonna happen.

Our headlines say “The next election is labour’s to lose”.
Labour’s political lead - didn’t last the weekend, as it turned out.
Labour against Zero Hours Contracts?
What better way to zero EMPLOYMENT than to force companies to pay both higher per-employee taxes AND punish firms for taking on too many full time staff, that’ll then have nothing to do, but cannot be sacked under lingering HRC legislation to boot…
I predict at present that the next parliament will be a six-way split (six parties having at least double-digit numbers of seats) not including the Ulster Unionist -parties btw.
Labour might even win the most seats, but they’ll only have a choice of going into coalition with the Tories or the Reform Party, which will lose them all credibility IF they then did such a “coalition of national unity” with likely Starmer as PM and Sunak back at the Exchequer… There’s even talk of getting Farage back into the Tories in case such a coalition can be defused of RUK before it gets that far…

Dont be confusing zero hours contracts with working for an agency. A zero hours contract literally means that you are not contracted any minimum hours, however, you are required to be available at any point in the working week, with no obligation from the employer to provide any set hours.
With an ageny, YOU choose when you are available work and on the whole you are free to go and work for multiple agencies or employers, a zero hours contract would not permit you to do this because the employer would want you to be availabible to go in and do a shift for them whenever they snap their fingers.
Agencies existed long before zero hours contracts.

I think you will find that it is WHEN.
The bookies dont often get it wrong and they are offering 1/7 for labour to win the most seats, and 4/11 for it to be a labour government, and 1/7 for the next prime minister to be Starmer. They are offering 6/1 for a conservative minority government and 8/1 for a conservative majority government. It seems like a done deal to me.
So was remain a done deal… .oh how wrong they were

My bet is that they don’t intend to be limited by that interpretation.
Bearing in mind the definition of ‘availability’ would also obviously include what’s convenient and acceptable to both sides or it ain’t a ‘contract’.
The truth is Socialism is all about control and the idea of workers choosing their own hours and availability is mutually exclusive with that.
