YAY! Well done mate!
I was a bit worried as you only had the three days training
but you obviously took to it.
Time to celebrate!!

Yeah it is, I almost failed as he wanted me to turn right, I started indicating then it was no right turn so I panicked and almost missed the red light
eeek! Bet your heart was going like the clappers!
Too right it was, i thought i’d failed at that point so relaxed and just got on with the drive lol, just CPC now and apply for digi card then i can work
Congratulations on the pass. Pete

Its funny how making a mistake and thinking you’ve failed can make you relax and drive better. I did the same thing right at the start of my car test. Was almost certain I’d failed so I just chilled out and didn’t really worry. Turns out the mistake I thought I had made wasn’t even a minor
Well Done. Good luck on getting some work
So now I have my Cat C license can I drive a C1 or do I need to take the C1 test? It’s a step down from a C but I’m unsure

LGV C1 is a sub category of C or put another way … C is higher than C1
So as of today all qualified to drive class C mod 4 was really easy
What about mod 2?
Passed that 48/50 am so happy it’s all over

What revision meteral did you use mate? if any?
I’m using that site, is it the same material as the real test
So 6 months on from gaining my license and I thought I’d post an update.
It turns out that passing the test is just an acceptance to learn more, the first few weeks of driving were the most terrifying but now it’s becoming second nature apart from a few incidents one with a cyclist and another with a bollard it’s been relatively straight forward, but I have had so much help from other drivers, both on the forum and face to face one kind driver a skip operator helped me out when the hiab decided it didn’t want to respond to the remote on my first day operating it, another driver came and helped me out when I was struggling trying to back onto a loading bay for the first time (I hadn’t realised you needed to be mm correct for the ramp to go across) so really the most important thing I’ve learnt Is don’t be afraid to ask for help or to stand up to the guys in the transport office. Really I’m just sat on a loading bay in reading bored out of my wit and looking for something to talk about
Hey! good to hear from you, I’d wondered how you were getting on.
It’s so true! It’s a licence to learn more to start with but isn’t it fun!?
