Yes it does -but to answer specific legal questions on AETR I would be inclined to look at the actual legal regs as I do for 561/2006
I have both sets of regs - GV262 & 561/2006 but not AETR
Rog the aetr regs are 3280/85 and there is a note of that in the gv 262
The AETR rules were aligned with Council Regulation (EEC) 3820/85 in April 1992. Until a further alignment occurs, these will remain in force. Some specialised vehicles are exempt from the rules. For a full list refer to the regulation.

The question I set was a specific AETR legal question so you wouldn’t need the actual regs.

I can see where you go wrong so often by that statement. You have one set of regulations and a guide to them. As it says in the foreword, gv262 presents the rules in an understandable and usable way, it isn’t a set of rules/regulations in it’s own right. It just does the same job as the Highway Code does for the various rules of the road.

No they’re not Del. The AETR rules were changed to match the old EU driving rules in 1992, they didn’t become those rules. It is proposed they will be changed again at some point to align with 561/2006 but that doesn’t mean they will become 561/2006

3 When would a weekly rest start if you had completed 56 hours driving in that week and you did no POA and only work and driving and you took the minimum breaks required, your start time was Monday 6am you have had a 45 hour rest and only drove 34 hours last week
Where is the question that asks for a specific answer in the above ?
If you can take out the red herrings from the above quote and leave the question (without adding anything) then I will concede that I have it wrong - that’s fair
The question is there ROG but for whatever reason you seem to choose not to see it.
Actually I thought it was a good question that made you think about what was involved and therefore made you think about the answer rather than just being able to give a stock answer to a question that’s laid bare with nothing to think about.
How interesting is a quiz where all of the answers are obvious without any thought process required.

Red Herrings removed = 3 When would a weekly rest start if your start time was Monday 6am.
Now it could start at any time but as you have only one start point, 06:00 Monday, to work from then the only answer you can give with a time in it is 06:00 Sunday. Simples.
there is no single answer
if your start time is 06:00 monday ,(and the red herrings are removed) theres no reason why your weekly rest cant start when you finish your shift on monday
