Never knew asda drivers had it so easy

now ive done a few tight Tesco’s in my time - bathgate, edinburgh brougton rd , montrose come to mind oh how i could have done with a turntable

what i want to know is - when it breaks as these things do. Do you just pop the suzies hit shunt and turn like the rest of us :grimacing:

That video clip has been posted before

Not a bad life for some though is it

why does everyone think bathgate is tight?

try coatbridge with an auto. the staff always know when the driver has an auto cos it takes 5 times as long to get it on the bay. dalgety bay is a ■■■■■ too. broughton road isnt bad during the day but the front door delivery is a tough one getting out again. i wouldnt like to go there without a rear steer

If the yard has RSU in it - i have nightmares :open_mouth:  your lucky if you can fit a ■■■ paper between you and that roof .

i forgot all about coatbridge, that’s another lovely awkward blind reverse that gets the sweat pishing off me :grimacing:

Nope-that would be far too difficult for us pampered ASDA drivers!

We insist they get an agency driver to do it for us!!!

Bathagte no probs as long as RSU not in the way… Coatbridge is tight… Greenock… easy to get in drive straight in and reverse back… getting out is bleeding tighter than my wifes ■■■■■… with that bloody water tank in the bloody way… :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

what have we learned so far?
asda drivers dont do any work
everyone else in scotland who doesnt drive for asda has driven for tesco and got the infamous bathgate and coatbridge stores

Two different trucks. The one shown going in through the door is pulling a fridge trailer, the one on the turntable is a curtainsider

Yeah, but in fairness to you guys, when you were on nightshift running out of Grangemouth - you once had to put up with a certain nightshift manager called Rod…

He moved up the cdc and only left about a year ago! We had to put up with him on backshift!Apparently he went to DHL.

On a different note- If you are in Glasgow in the mornings, listen to the RockFM breakfast show. The DJ,Billy Rankin, was a driver with us up until last year.He used to be the lead guitarist in Nazareth and when they broke up became a truck driver!

Some of his stories about boozing with ozzy osbourne are hilarious!

Pleeeease can I have a go?! :sunglasses:

It’s like being part of Thunderbirds!
