Sorry forgot ,your like the rest of my family,go like hell for a few yrs the sit behind a desk being a big iam !

The Roo bar is missing. Jack would not have had an Eminox exhaust either. The step pads above the towing eyes were palastic not ally chequerplate and there should be a small air dam under the bumper.

It’s a genuine Erf stack ,the lorry the restoration is based on did have one on .

Yes and no ,it’s not quite the answer .

Well Dan is it the Bumper Bar ?, Regards Larry.

Yes Larry ,the bumper is a c series one which I cut the tow eye holes out of and re made the chequers steps to fit as the curve on a genuine bumper is more rounded .

Sorry Dan’l but to compare an ERF to a smooth Scania 112/113 is akin to comparing a League two team to a Premiership one, have you ever operated a Scania ? I’m sure if you had you would definitely have a re think unless of course you are a masochist similar to Foden operators of 30/40 years ago who stuck their heads in the sand ! I realise I may offend some TN Members but a spade is a shovel to me and the proof of the pudding is in the eating and Scanias were untouchable as far as I was concerned all them years ago ! Cheers Dennis.

That’s correct Dennis we never owned a Scania, But I did drive one, IMO, My ERF was a far better performer & had far better brakes, But of course one has to speak as one finds,   , Regards Larry.

Actually yes the Scania is no match for an ERF ,the ERF is much better ,however the Foden is not even a contender .

Well when you have a whip in both 'ands it’s “no contest” and it’s no good bleating for Larry as he is a very sensible Marra form the N.East and knows not to embark on a hiding to nothing eh!

You are obviously smoking some different “gear” to us Dan’l !! :unamused:  :open_mouth:

You’d need shares in David’s p 38 to restore one of those things   :stuck_out_tongue:

This is the one I drove after I retired, It was down rated to 26 tonne as it was used for hauling lampposts which were very light in weight, I remember taking a full load down to Conway & the least bit incline I had to drop & gear or two, Not my kind of motor at all, This photo was taken moving the Tipper from Teesport to Hartlepool docks for internal work,Regards Larry.
