My Journey - Theory - C - C+E = Job

Evening BigLebowski

No I didnt have an assesment drive with them, and the course price does include the test fee.

I must admit I lost trsck of the prices I had written down, & they did vary■■? from that sent out in the brochure I received.

It seemed that in the small print the price I thought I was paying was for those with an Individual learning Grant!!! if you havent got one ( I didnt ) you had to add another £150

I will check for you the exact price for both courses & post them asap, & cheers mate I will get there
wills

I you don’t mind.
Cheers mate.

im paying 595 plus test fee for a saturday total 702 and think it was just under 200 for a retest

Cheers mate. I was a bit confused as Wills paid £645 all in and that’s what it says on their website info.
I guess the prices have changed.

Also got an interview @ agency to get some part time Class C work ( free practice ) long as I pass tacho exam & Geography test■■?

Anyone give me some Idea as what too expect or what too revise up on, Have got myself the Pocket guide to LGV Drivers hours @ Tacho law Gulp :open_mouth:

Ps BigLebowski still looking for my receit But think stvme2519 was spot on £702 [/b]

You will need to know:

how to fill a tacho out
driving hours ect
a few questions on highway code

which agency wills

Geography test■■?

They’re having a laugh, or do they not allow their drivers to carry maps !!!

G

… forgot to add … …

Depends on the agency as to the test (obvious I know) - DriverHire’s test is pretty accurate and sticks with the main facts all standard stuff, although they have a big test on the WTD so you would need to read up on that. Protemp’s test (I took just after the regs changed) was out of date and veered off into “drivers myths” territory.

Chances are that if you fail either a) they won’t care; or b) will let you resit anyway…

after your recommendation “Best connection” @ Tysley mate

Cheers Gazzareth, must admit found the thought of a geography test quite funny

Cheers convoy hopefully I should be ok on the Basics I hope!!!

You won,t go far wrong with best connection mate.I have been with them doing weekend class 2 work at the bakeries without any problems.I did my first class 1 run for them 2 weeks ago in a DAF 03 plate and it was wicked

I am now on the class 1 work with them and hopefully going to be doing it full time…after years of driving a sprinter.
