Good to see you’re getting another go, you’ll walk it this time,

It’s nice to know you have lots of support from your family, my lovely Nana paid for my class2 test and my Godmother for my Class 1, I dreaded, more than failing, of not doing my best and letting them down in that way GOOD LUCK!!

no one is more shocked than me, its the 1st time I can remember anyone on either side of family have supported me like this!! i am stunned… & can really associate with you in not wishing to let people down… thanx mate

Well I rang CTT straight away last night & confirmed with them I wanted a re test…but have been given no time or date as yet…

wills tell no one no pressure then …do the test and say youve passed .my brother in law done that on his class2 he failed twice third time he didnt tell any one and passsed with 2 minors…
got to feel sorry for him he had his class 1 test few weeks back at garrats green done his test and reversing came back to test centre to do uncoupling …trailor wouldnt uncouple there was fault with fifth wheel, they had to terminate the test, and they wouldnt even say how he got on he still waiting for retest

I did that!!
Told no one when my re-test was, much less pressure.
And I passed, so I defiantly think there’s something in the fact of not telling anyone!

However tonnes of luck Wills for the next.

While I’m on the subject if you’re putting to a poll then I’m going to plump for the 5th of July!!

good luck mate … i cant wait till mine starts with ctt on 3rd of oct. good news i got job waiting for me when i pass, company my mate works for sorted it for me , so i really wana pass even more now,knowing i got job straight away , dont wana let me mucka down

ruined a good drive AGAIN :smiling_imp: :blush: :smiling_imp: :blush:

Hill start tried to pull away in [zb] 7th thought i was in 3rd & stalled :blush: hadnt flicked the switch to the low ratio.

Gears in general- changing down to early in anticipation of what might happen @ roundabout etc instead of getting there, then deciding whether to change down if needed.

Everything else OK

Examiner ( the very 1st one I had) was brilliant with me :open_mouth: his debrief went beyond what is prob required by them!!! could actually tell today that they ( the examiners ) wanted me too pass!!!

I’m extremly flat as I write this, and I was very dissapointed that even tho I was told to be @ the test center for 11.30, we didnt get in the truck till 12.15 & the lad I was with today had his test @ 1.00, he drove to the truck stop had agear change exercise on the way- we checked our reverse mark- then I drove to the test center… we had 15mins drive each!!! I might be picking flies I dont know■■? but do feel like we should have had longer to feel our feet again?

Again it was a complete wipeout for all the C+E’s today apart from 1 lad with the Draw bar set up.

Driving home, I had to stop and take time out with myself!!! it really is starting to get me down, & i’m letting other people down & feel like i’m wasting there money too. And decided that, even tho I cant afford it I cant keep chasing my dream :cry:

Phoned 1 of my mates to tell him I’d [zb] up again, top mate tried to talk me inti another go!!! he’ll stump up the cash ( nearly had me in tears ) but i really need to talk with CTT & make sure I get a good lesson in before hand if I’m going to try again.

Which now I know I’ve got to do…my little girl was crying her eyes out, she knows how much it means to me & that i’m doing it to try & make a better life for us all…i dont want to let her down!

I still know there is a good drive in me, just need an exorcist with me on my next test so it shows itself.

Again thank you all for your support, help tips etc… I know i’m making right hard work of this & hope Im not boring you all to death!!! or putting anybody off .

I’ll speak to ctt Monday & go from there.

one word mate…GUTTED :frowning: , I am truely gutted for ya wills.
You need to keep chasing your dream, you will of let people down if you DONT, i had a mate who failed 4 times and passed on his 5th attempt, as soon as he passed,the 4 fails didnt matter one little bit to him,he got what he wanted,his dream.
chin up mate,and remember what knocks us down makes us stronger, get it booked first thing monday,do it for your little girl :wink: :smiley:
