Cheers

buy an a-z if your on multidrop seriously
I’m on multi drop. Routing done for us…So I use sat nav 1 drop at a time. Unless I’m on the same street obviously.
I believe Autoroute will sort a route for you but I’ve never heard of a dedicated sat-nav that does it.
only ever heard of it being done with autoroute on a laptopamabob with a gps dongle.
Mio has a multiple route planner, had about five in it once but not sure about 15 or 50 even.
Found doing 1 at a time better though so never really used it.
If dropping 50 a day. Buy an a-z and when your in an area then post codes are usually consecutive. E.g ab10 1ab. 1ad. 1af etc.

Just because he’s on multi drop, doesn’t mean they’re all in the same area, could get costly.
Autoroute’s route sorting is pretty good, if you’re loading your own truck though, ask for help, there’s no substitute for experience.
Only satnav I have seen with multiple postcodes is the snooper 6000 but only allows 16 entries. Here the link for you: snooperuk.com/products/s6000 … index.html

i have a snooper s7000 and i think it will only do the route in the order you enter them.
autoroute on a laptop would be my choice.
Didn’t VOSA start pulling people up for having a laptop open within the drivers view, or is my memory playing tricks ?

I think most people are thinking that you use auto-route to tell you which order to do them, not as a sat nav
Tomtom allows you to put in about 30 waypoints, but it’s then up to you to sort them

Not ideal though is it, because you have to be bang on before it moves to the next one, I never use it now.

Just got a pronav and it only allows 7, and you must enter them in the correct order. It is really just one destination and 6 x via. Haven’t tried this feature yet but don’t expect it to be as good as claimed.
No but it sounds like a good idea.
If there was one that could do that it would be a winner, but as with all satnavs you would have to check your route with a map before you used it.
Sounds like there’s a market opportunity for someone… although I’m pretty certain TomTom do a commercial service… if you can afford to pay for it!
Have a look here:

Renault TruckNav on the iPhone/iPad will do this.
It’ll even work out when you will be likely to need a break so you can program in the nearest services/restaurant/truck parking around that time.
Before now I have used autoroute to sort the post codes into a suitable order - its pretty good at this - then export a file which I then import into my Garmin Zumo (made for motorbikes). The satnav then takes me point to point. I also have a USB GPS thingy that works on my laptop with autoroute and this is supposed to work like a sat nav but never has.
BUT - as said on here already, if you slighly miss one of the points the satnav will get annoyed and keep trying to take you there.
I also used the software supplied with our vehicle trackers - Masternaut. This allowed importing a list of addresses. It’d then sort into a drop order based on a few different factors and then send the route to the sat nav in the vehicle that was linked to the tracker. Pretty good if a little time consuming.
I also have Memory Map on my iPhone. This is Ordnance Survey mapping. I can import the file I got from Autoroute and it marks the map for me. Doesn’t give any guidance but at least it marks the map AND shows where I am
