I wonder what happened to the OP is he racking up millions in profit yet

Must have been no big bucks or fame and fortune in muckshifting, his last post in January requested info on livestock work :open_mouth:

I wonder if he bought a red Scania 4 series 8wheeler, with Thompson Loadmaster body, and found some work running to Ba… oh no.

Best not go there mate!!

Finance on a new tipper…you just don’t walk into a truck dealer and expect to drive it way of on the cheap…any dealer is gonna want at least a 20% deposit but even before that he’s going to do a credit check on your business to find out your businesses financial status …so have you a business that has an income over £50.000 per year …plus if you haven’t got an O licence you’ll be laughed out the door…

Dealers not interested in possible contracts unless you got something in black and white and that shows guaranteed income over a period of years…Oh for got to say if you’re buying a tipper on finance have you got the 20% deposit …
And I more than certain that PCP would go through the similar sort of formate

Don’t wanna sound rude but we on the forum see these wild stories week in and week out. the promise of untold fortunes more like jacknory ■■■■■■■■…and its ways from a mate…

Am I fussy or are the tippers for sale on Truck Trader, Commercial Motor etc in the main, bags of ■■■■? There’s a white and green 08 reg CF 8wheeler that’s been on there for ages and the body is bashed and rotten.
And the iffy looking Irish tippers-the tipper bodies look like they were made by an amateur welder in the dark out of roofing sheets…

There’s all sorts on there but a lot needs a few quid spending on them.
Wouldn’t choose a MAN myself but there’s some ex McArdle MANS on 58 plates in CM I know the firm there from and there very well looked after

I would guess there’ll be a better selection over the coming weeks for secondhand motors now the 15 plate is out.

If the OP hasn’t been scared away already, punctures will wipe the profit from your balance sheet particularly at this time of year. I’ve had two already this week, thankfully todays’ one can be mended.

8-wheeler tippers £200 a load carting muck…that means you would be taking in around £1000 a day…this means i would be looking at £6000…This leaves a profit of £4057 per week… Whats your thoughts?? many thanks dan.

Now here’s the realism. I did one load of stone (haulage only) and 7 muck yesterday for Smiths. Before I started I filled the diesel tank up and did it again first thing this morning so we know what the fuel cost was. Boss worked out he made £160 profit from it. So if I did this job all week the profit (as long as I don’t need new tyres etc) would be about £800.
So my thoughts because the OP did ask is that he’s talking bull faeces.
