IF they must bring refugees into the UK there are already several suitable sites available & owned & managed by HM Government many of which have recently been mothballed. These sites have all the nessesary facilities in place (healthcare, catering, social services, laundry, gymnasiums, places of worship & more) to accommodate the needs of hundreds, if not thousands of refugees and economic migrants. All that’s needed to recommission them is to bring in the right number of professionals & staff to provide the help & services reqd. The infrastructure is already in place to transport them to/from these sites, in some cases, some sites (if not all) have facilities to hear legal/immigration cases onsite or via video link to experdite the process of deciding wether they should stay or be deported.Deciding if they can be granted asylum or not, , no if they enter this country by illegal means and travel without ID (or destroy it en route here) they should be deported, Mug shot fingerprints , DNA all taken , as well as biometrics for future use, with the DNA profile they can work out where they are from, not only this but all that scum at Calais are not refugees as they are in a safe country and not fleeing anything , many have already refused asylum in france, So no need to waste lots more tax payers money paying for legal aid and court time and taking months to do that the processing i have highlighted could be completed in hours, and they could be deported within days that is how we should deal with this problem, we could save even more by just returning them to France let the frogs whine who cares this scum ain’t our problem
they could use chartered planes or prison ships, used to send them back, failing that put in a military plane issued with basic parachutes and dropped back into their homelands in those cases where their country doesn’t want them back,

It would seem that my MP is totally out of touch with the views of Truck Drivers and has tunnel vision about those illegals who cause disruption for traveller’s of all types of vehicles.
I’d like to think that she will be made unemployed at the next General Election, however, due to the unfortunate (To say the least!) situation that Scotland is a one party state at the moment, I’m not holding my breath!
