He does have a tendency to hijack threads and change them from interesting to his boring diatribes against socialism etc. I don’t bother to read the garbage he posts any more as if you have read one you don’t need to read another. Carryfast, have you ever thought of becoming a politician? Because with some, no most, of the crap you spout out, you’d fit in quite well in Westminster.
I don’t understand all the anti Carryfast crap, true he thinks everything he says is Gospel on every subject imaginable from the young birds for elder men to nuclear fission but you’ve got to hand it to him that his old and ancient mind that on a scale of one to ten he is often scoring … about 3 !! It’s all about having nowt else to do all day other than searching on tinterweb for the most relevant answers to questions asked on here and posting what he had found before checking what someone else had said … sod it ! True but the problem is when others respond by quoting him, his posts still appear.
Posters feelings about Carryfast go through stages, much like stages of grief. First is humor, laughing that someone can actually think what he does. This is followed by anger when he launches into a subject close to your heart. Then comes the battle stage where you give up your life debating Carryfast to no avail. Then when you realise he isn’t ever listening you head back into anger again, ‘Why don’t the mods remove him’ type anger, your stage now. The final stage which many of us have attained is noncholance. When you reach this phase you won’t care what he says, almost never reading threads if you see he’s involveD. Hope this helps.

He really isn’t a intelligent thinker, he is just a crashing bore with too much time on his hands churning out the same trite old nonsense day after day,his post count alone indicates everybody in the real world ignores him.
Everyone on here or any other public forum is entitled to speak freely and within the rules of that forum. If you Like or dislike someone and their opinions you all have the facility of the ‘block button’ or just don’t read what they post! I personally have issues with ‘Mumsnet’ type threads. Carryfast, hmmm, I have mixed feelings towards him, pretty much along the lines of Switchlogic’s sentiments.
Sometimes he makes me want to launch my device out of the nearest window, other times I shake my head in dismay, sometimes, albeit very rarely, I agree with him, but from a moderator’s perspective he does nothing wrong, no matter how much hatred he incites, he never rises to the bait and conducts himself well within site guidelines, so he has nothing to answer to and therefore will remain free to post his repetitive ramblings.
Now, think about this, many times he has derailed a thread and this has in turn got somebody to post new information purely to discredit his insane theories, so in fact he is very good for trucknet, a lot of useful information has surfaced purely to discredit him.
I have been accused of being Carryfast a number of times before when I have defended him, but I promise we are not the same person, I actually think that Carryfast is an alter ego of RikkiUK, when things are a bit quiet on his creation, he pops up as Carryfast and a two page thread grows to 50 pages in a few hours, of course he will deny this, but he would, wouldn’t he!
