Some of mine. Italeri Scania 142 wrecker bought on ebay as a part built mess, not perfect but i’m proud of it. The livery is based on a fictitious Swedish recovery operator. Home made super singles and decals.
Revell Volvo F12. I must say, i have built a few model trucks over the last few years and this kit is by far the easiest to put together and was a joy to build.

Which container from these would be best to sit on the trailer, ie which ones would have been around the same time as this truck? I’m thinking either the Geest (unless Russell Davies done all the Geest stuff) or BELL as the P&O/Nedllyod are too new maybe?

Ref the Scania and which container would best suit your model, personally i would go with the brown lease hire box.
I cant be 100% sure but i think you would be right in saying that the P&O box would be too new.Here is a photo of a Scania from the same era with a lease hire box on.

Bit of a long shot but does anyone have a model of a foden S36/39 eight wheeler tipper.Fingers crossed,used to go in one with E.BUTLER & SONS (MALTBY) in early 70s.
there use to be a 1/24th scale mickey mouse cab you could buy mate, not sure who produced them or if you could get one…
