Hi,
I the same idea of the website TOPRUN.ch, TIR models want to make a tribute to the road heroes of the 70’s 80’s
The first model of this project, made by Tekno, is a Scania 110 6x4 ‘’Express Karachi’’ from the dutch company Rynart.

Some history…
In 1969, Philips launched a TV assembly plant in Pakistan, they contacted Rinus Rynart, Rob’s father, asking him if he can organize a transport from Rotterdam to Karachi, this was never down before, without even a reconnaissance trip, Rinus sends two semitrailers that were able to carry this first commercial run in 24 days and even managed to find cargo for the return! Within few months, more than 50 trucks where doing these rotations of 30,000 km.
This models made only on 200 exemplar come with a certificate and its available on pre-order trough the TOPRUN shop

try Roger at

dodgersdecals.com/

also Chris Moxham (transferman) though he is in the process of changing his email - anyone got the new one?

Thanks for the help, I’ve had a few quotes now and there all way out my price range! Lol its only a hobby and I can’t justify paying 45 quid on transfers when the model its going on only cost me 15! I’m looking into making my own at the moment so I have a bit more control over the cost. This is the main reason I started to work down scale, I’ve got a 142 in the cupboard, the kit, some bits from KFS and M&G and it could easily go over 100 with a trailer, I can get 3 artics in 00 scale for that and they take up less space than the tractor alone and that keeps the Mrs happy too

hiya some of my pics on old lorries under title–requested model pics.not as good as i wanted but getting better slowly. regards terry.
