Neither ! Its a Slop Cloth (borrowed :unamused: :question: ) from Mabels pub situated ower t brig frae Bewicks yard. O.K., I`ve got mi tin hat ready .

IIRC,the Coach and Horses in the village was our local at the time this shot was taken Roy !! But theres no way you could have got a bar towel off Mabel,she was as tight as a crabs arse at 100 fathoms!!Cheers Dennis.

I think it would be a 220 Dennis,it did a lot of lowloader/heavy work,we had the sister unit at Darlington, it had a lot of power we used to say it would climb a wall,earplugs at the ready to drive this one mind.Vic.

Looks like a load of Jebbs waste paper to me Dennis, more than likley going into Kent to the Reed mills eh.

Would he have reloaded from Reeds,via Reed Transport.We loaded regularly for many years from Reeds usually for Wigan or Hartlepool out of Larkfield and for Barrow out of Tovil mill.Cheers Dennis.
