I wonder why there are seldom seen any of W H Bowker’s motors pulling MATs trailers they did
lots of work and the Mat logo was even incorporated into their livery I personally did a lot of
UK work for them pulling their tilts (shudder) I’d rather load, and rope and sheet a flat trailer
anytime but most of the stuff having been taken to or collected in my case mainly from Dover
was coming or going to the Continent so it was always tilts happy day’s though.

You should know, I think that’s A.S. An ex Bowker man, it must have been taken more than 35 years ago. I think he was at Hull a Ship Stores before MAT What do you think, just a bit unsure of the glasses though. :question:
