Most UK people have been beaten into submission, it is embarrassing and both humiliating.
I have seen the working environment go backwards in the last 30 years, truly sad what UK people put up with now.
Thatcher was the death knell of the working man/woman in this country and all the social conditions being deteriorated ever since…She truly was an awful woman, the spawn of Satan.
Wherever you bought it mate (I bet you paid a premium price at Waterstones), it looks like more ‘conspiracy theory’ ■■■■■■■■ to me, but each to their own eh. If it gives you comfort, crack on. Have a good day now!

Nap time, for you.
Not sure what your problem is buddy? Maybe you perceived my post about your marxism reference as hostile or flippant? It was neither, so no offence meant, it was just said in the friendly spirit of this site. Maybe you could do with a little more sleep and some nice furry slippers like me, put them on your Christmas list matey. There is another place suited to your quickfire retorts though, Twitter, plenty of (your word) Plebs over there, try it you may like it!
Ain’t no way on this earth that I would drive such a camera fitted vehicle (not knowingly anyway)
Good mind to sign on to an agency for this outfit just so I can turn up and tell them to take them out or I am leaving.
Thatcher ?
Can some of you remember what life was like before she came on the scene ?

As I said, have a good day!
This is precisely the kind of inane crap I had in mind when I started a thread about gatehouse staff recently. Passive-aggressive nonsense from oddballs and misfits.

If only I had a block button for them too.

So you find driving and talking at the same time difficult?
Seriously?.. Are you in the right job.
Ok, in that case I’m Rob and I’m a ■■■■■.
I think you are well aware of what I am saying. Talking on hands free can have an impact on concentration. Anyone who thinks otherwise are fooling themselves.
It’s a bit like the ones that think they are safe to speed. Oh and I ain’t in the job no more…thank goodness.
many year’s ago I did the rospa advanced driving course in a lorry and commentary was a big part of the test.
I have done many commentry drives over the years.Hate to disappoint you but not the same as having a conversation on a phone.

m.a.n rules:
that it is acceptable to talk whilst driving and doesn’t necessarily affect your driving.
Really and you think doing a commentry drive is the same as having a conversation on a phone?
Let me explain the difference. When you are doing a commentry drive you are commenting on what you see whilst you are driving hence actually improving your concentration and really focusses your thoughts on the road.
When you are talking on a phone you are NOT talking about what is happening round about you.You are talking about other subjects which can and will affect your concentration which can and will affect your driving.
So as I said earlier two entirely different scenarios.
I had my first ‘cabphone’ in 1985, there was no hands free option in those days.
I continued using phones that way until it was deemed illegal…about (at a guess.2002ish?)
The hands free legislation came out because a small minority could not talk and drive at the same time , where as 1000s of others…ie.the majority (including me) managed quite well thanks with no problem.
Maybe ‘Mr Thesnake’ is part of the minority who found it difficult eh? ,.so maybe he should not speak for everyone else…just saying like.

Nope you are wrong. I like you had a brick mobile when they first came out, used to put it down to negotiate roundabouts sometimes.
I have used them on and off over the years without any hiccups but as I say they can definitely cause problems to drivers and as I said earlier some drivers are totally unaware of their mistakes because of a lack of concentration. Seen it so many times. I am surprised you cannot see the problem I am talking about and that problem will lead to them being banned completely.
Maybe you are a male driver that can multitask?
Juddian:
No one is suggesting you should leave, but if the staff stand together preferably with union backing (which mans being in the union in the first place) then in your face cameras can be successfully defeated.
By the way i’m alright jack too and i was arsed.
The only realistic option would be to leave though.
“Stand together with union backing”. Not a cat in hells chance it would ever happen with a massive 20+ depot hire & reward outfit with the usual revolving door or drivers coming and going.
The cameras don’t bother me so I crack on. Anything I did care about, I’d vote with my feet, unless it was a proper top quality job you couldn’t easily replace. Much more chance of some cooperation from your colleagues then. You surely know as well as I do that the hire & reward outfits are already mostly too far gone on the wages & working conditions front.
I just finished a stint driving coaches they are covered in cameras watching u even a system called the guardian system that measures head and eye movement and if it detected a distraction event it tain a photo of u then head office looked at it and then u were dissiplned

If you read the various accounts of the workings of The Frankfurt School you’ll find that Thatcher was despised by these people. They worked constantly throughout her tenure to undermine her from within resulting in her being deposed when she refused to have anything to do with the political integration of the EEC into the EU leading up to the Maastricht Treaty.
She may not have been all things to all men but she was the last Prime Minister to have put this country first.
