Only asked the driver permission to take a couple of photos , didn’t want to hold him up on a Friday with chit chat , so didn’t get a chance to talk to him .

Thats the owners boy’s wagon. Heard (might not be true) a while ago he spent £30,000 odd on his wagon for the chrome and accessories.

I’ll try and speak to him when he comes to collect the “Shovel” . See if I can get a little info next time he’s in .

There was an article about them in one of the truck mags a while ago and the boss said his sons don’t get special treatment!

No special treatment , wouldn’t mind a bit of no special treatment guys.

If he don’t get special treatment why is he on plant work instead of one of the 100’s of curtains doing boring shuttle runs all day

So what if he does get special treatment? It’s called a perk of being the bosses son.

Im no saying there is anything wrong with special treatment its what is expected when your a relation, but to say in print in a trucking magazine that it doesn’t happen, is just plain telling porkies.

Fair play to the lad if it was my dad it would be at least a 750 and done up like the dogs dinner

What’s the weight on the loader (shovel) looks a lot of axles there for it

Not sure, the loader is for the recycle plant which shares the same yard as us , but I can find out and post , judging by the axles of the unit and trailer I’m sure they can take heavier plant than this .

Whats so special about that?
Its a motor, he picks things up and drops things off and uses the same roads as everyone else, just because it may have a few more horses, an extra axle and a couple more shiney bits to polish and lights for bulbs to blow dont make it preferential to me, looks abit more hassle coz your gonna stand out like a sore thumb.

It is an interesting bit of kit , had it past one on the road I’m sure most would have a good glance at it .
