Thats the owners boy’s wagon. Heard (might not be true) a while ago he spent £30,000 odd on his wagon for the chrome and accessories.

thought kerr malcolm was on the scania and a long standing employee was on the volvo

you may be right mate.

Although i’ve always seen Euans nameplate on the window and he was driving the volvo when he picked up a machine on a site i was on.

i could be wrong also but all the same it is a nice truck and well looked after by the looks of it

Not a bad bit of kit, wonder how much that lot cost ?

trailer would be around the 50 k mark and the unit would be around 120 k too 150 k

Ker has the Topline V8 which he keeps mint and Andrew’s other son Euan has the FH16. More often than not now it’s driven by a long stand employee as mentioned and good friend to the boys, Paul. Both lads are spot on and not up themselves, dead down to earth to talk to. I do the odd bit of photography work for them here and there as well as being good friends with Ker.

Cracking photos the driver of the plant low loader definitely looks like guy that came in the other day cheers Sam

Cheers mate, that’s Paul at the wheel of the FH16 then. Where do you work if you don’t mind me asking? I’m in Kilmarnock also.

Ah that’s awesome! Yeah I don’t post so much here now but got a good couple of years experience now and doing an odd bit here and there. Beginning to enjoy it a little more than I did but just taking it slow. Any questions feel free to pm me and I’ll try answer them as best as I can mate. Which depot did they deliver this in to then? No doubt will get it when they pick it up again.

Its the Western Rd Depot in Kilmarnock where the recycling department is Sam , the loader is on hire at mo because their own is broken down, hopefully I’m in the yard when it’s picked up .

If I hear when it’s getting picked up I will let you know.

Whats so special about that?
Its a motor, he picks things up and drops things off and uses the same roads as everyone else, just because it may have a few more horses, an extra axle and a couple more shiney bits to polish and lights for bulbs to blow dont make it preferential to me, looks abit more hassle coz your gonna stand out like a sore thumb.

It is an interesting bit of kit , had it past one on the road I’m sure most would have a good glance at it .

Bonny looker, but gimme the scabby owd shed in the corner of the yard so I can fade away into the horizon un noticed

Don’t think I’ll need to worry about being on anyone’s radar , when I do start trucking I’m likely to be given a scabby unit , but who’s going to give a noob the cream of the fleet , as long as I’m trucking I’ll be happy , roll on next March .

Bit of an overkill then unless was only truck in the area to do the job

Checked today , ‘loader’ is 15ton , bucket holds around 3ton according to loader driver .
