Ian was a lot slimmer in those days !! Saw his brother Dave at Ower services a few weeks ago driving for IsoTank said he was off to Aussie again asap, many happy hours running with him over the water.

I really think this is a fantastic photo of the period, it was vehicles like these that really got me into my chosen career, it is the closest looking thing to a club of four cab I have ever seen and it was several years before that.
I can also see a Mercedes Benz 1418, DAF 2200 and a Fiat in the cab design.

Yeah it was good motor the best i had driven up until then (1972) all before that being english , Vic.
