Loads of blue lights. Am stuck in the blocked traffic.
2 trucks involved just past services. Lanes 1 & 2 blocked by wreckage. Major incident control on scene. No reopen time available as yet from ha to.
I went past about 30 mins ago ,didn’t see any signs warning southbound drivers ? Funny how no ones on the cb anymore they could of saved some time .
Been sat here 65 mins now. Hato advising another hour until lane 3 gets opened 7:15
At least you’re not actually involved in it. I know it’s frustrating and annoying to be delayed at the end of a long shift, but just think how different it could have been if you’d been five or ten minutes ahead of yourself.

They’ve done this but it’s about 4 vehicles behind me

It’s the worst I’ve ever been stuck in and I ain’t even got in to pick up the truck yet. 3 hours and counting. Much longer and ill be begging for a spare Wolves ticket for this afternoons game as work will be aborted.

Drove past it about 30 mins ago. 3-4 burrows recovery vehicles on site, looks like some of the load is on the hard shoulder! Sure i saw a forklift there but that might be for the roadworks! 1 artic rear ended another artic. Drivers seat is pushed right up against the steering column quite a sickening site

Only just though, according to some he was near deaths door, i was one of the lucky ones that was in the services, hato chucked us out so the recovery could get to the scene.
Still closed. I’m on the A61 outside Alfreton, trying to get back to the M1.

Too late for me, after diverting via Clay Cross and Alfreton, I’ve lost around 1.5 hours, and currently sat in Hopwood Park. Should have been nearer Monmouth.
